Travala.com will now use TRON coin to book hotels. The news was revealed by Justin Sun. Travala.com is a blockchain based platform, which can be used across 210 countries.
During the weekend, TRON has significantly obtained a new milestone and reached another level. Justin Sun in a tweet said that TRX will be accepted for making hotel bookings across more than 500,000 hotels throughout the world. This has been possible due to TRON (TRX) new collaboration with Travala.com a crypto based startup firm.
TRON CEO said that TRX coin will be included on the blockchain service of Travala which operates with hotels around the world.
Use TRON and Other Cryptocurrency to Book Room
TRON works across 210 countries. The company has circulated the news that its customers can now book for a hotel room by spending the native token of TRON platform. Along with the list of other crypto assets, even TRON has been added by the firm.
The development news was confirmed through the official Twitter account of Justin Sun.
TRON has been used in different parts of the world to buy coffee, and now Justin Sun has managed to allow TRON to enter into the travel industry.
Travala.com, a crypto firm partners with more than 560,000 hotels across various destinations.
Travala.com’ decision of adding TRX token to its list will profit both the platforms. The hotel booking platform can see growth in new customers who are looking to spend their TRX other than trade market. This will also help the TRON network to receive a higher level of acceptance.
Earlier, Travala.com had added various crypto assets to its list, and on Saturday, it added crypto payment options for XRP, EOS, BTC, coins like NANO and DOGE. It also includes Stablecoins like DAI and TUSD.
Travala.com also works with traditional payment services apart from crypto payments like Visa, PayPal and Mastercard.
The company is trying to expand the crypto adoption by introducing it into the leading industry, wherein it’s helping the crypto space to grow on a wide scale and even creating awareness of this emerging crypto space. TRX is the 15th coin to be added by the firm on its platform.
Travala.com has launched its own crypto token AVA coin to its payment list option and is ranked at 498, trading at $0.109726 as per CoinMarketcap.
Earlier, reports also say that popular travel companies like Airbnb also allows its clients to make payment through crypto asset. Bitrefill, a Swedish based startup firm allows selling gifts for Airbnb by using coins like LTC, BTC and ETH. DASH and DOGE are also permitted to use for payment.
Although, the crypto gift cards are only for US citizens.
